What will bring you to me

My ache asks…

My tears cannot melt mountains-

Sear Sky or scorch Sea.

You… far away on another plane

Cannot see my longing

Nor understand why-

Mind is such madness for you… only you.

I wither day by day

Into Despair.

You do not care.

Heart listens to no logic

Nor the wisdom of moving on-

Since you walked away.

I remain stubborn.

Pine and pain.

As if my Desolation

Will bring you back again.

Life laughs. Time ticks on.

Ages later ….Sense prevails-

Is losing a lover a great calamity…

Is not Suffering healing…

Elevating… Empowering…

Will I never find another love…

Can I not help another in pain…

And shall I not rebuild my life again…

The answers hit hard.

Unshackle from Sorrow

And selfish Misery.

I Rise… Strong. Free.

To a new Me.

And a finer Tomorrow.
